EA splits into four, "The Sims" gets it own unit

Electronic Arts, the world’s largest game publisher, said last that it plans to reorganize the company into four smaller units. The plan, lead by CEO John Riccitiello, aims to boost efficiency by splitting the company into units that will focus on specific segments, such as sports, casual gamers, The Sims franchise and other games.
