Despite being just a single component in an otherwise huge war machine, you're still made to feel important by being given tasks essential for the war effort. These include bringing down bridges in order to sunder an enemy attack force or embarking on a daring raid behind enemy lines to assassinate a North Sahrani general. The sheer diversity is little short of staggering, as is the game's genuinely open-ended nature that allows you to tackle every level, task and battle in a virtually infinite number of ways.
