Our civilization showcase continues with a detailed look at the Sioux.

One of the new playable civilizations for the WarChiefs expansion is the Sioux. We selected the Sioux because they were a mighty nation whose territory was larger than any Western European country. They controlled a large swatch of the North American continent, and their relationships with other tribes were important. They reached their greatest power in the mid- to late 1800s. In their wars with the US, they proved to be a dangerous but honorable opponent.
