So, what is the Quiet Drive? Quite simply, it's a 5.25" drive enclosure to put your 3.5" hard disk in. Of course, this in itself won't be enough to reduce hard drive noise considerably, thus Scythe have implemented a double case structure (which you'll be able to see for yourself in a moment), as well as some foam inside the casing to dampen noise from the device and anti-vibration and noise absorption rubber to take away further drive noise as well as reducing any vibration of the drive, which can often cause some of the most irritating noise from a drive.
