Wings Over Europe: Cold War Gone Hot was developed by Third Wire Productions who previously developed Wings Over Vietnam and Strike Fighters. It's based in the hypothetical theater of a war between Soviet and NATO forces when the Soviets invade west Germany. It takes place in 3 different time periods ('62, '68 and '79) and allows you to fly in 13 different aircraft such as the A-10 Thunderbolt, Harrier Jump-jet and the F-4 Phantom. Unfortunately you can only represent NATO forces in the dynamic campaigns, although you can fly a Mig in the single missions.
