Not too long ago, Pandemic's Full Spectrum Warrior brought unrestrained joy to strategy-loving gamers. Yet right before it shipped to retail stores, people were still asking the same basic question: "What? You can't actually shoot anybody?" Derived from its work with the US Army, Pandemic's first game was a training simulator that provided gamers with a totally different way of playing game -- strictly, following militaristic protocol, and using strategic tactics throughout. You controlled your teams, telling them to shoot, cover, or run. But never actually doing those things yourself.
