C&C rises again! We talk to EA's Mike Verdu about the ressurection. Three gameplay screens included.

One of the most popular franchises in RTS gaming is Command & Conquer. Westwood helped bring the genre into existence with Dune II and then turned and cemented its popularity with C&C right after. The franchise is an interesting mix by itself having three different universes inside the brand. We figured it was only a matter of time before EA resurrected the series (how could you not when it's been so popular?) so it was really a matter of which universe would get the next treatment.
