Share prices down in the wake of muted response to first person shooter.

EA's shares fell some 6% as some less than favourable reviews of Danger Close and DICE's Afghanistan-set first person shooter begin to hit.
Initially touted as a rival to Activision's phenomenally successful Call of Duty series, Medal of Honor has courted controversy with its setting inspired by the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan and reviews have criticized its weak single-player offering and stability issues on the console versions. Its Metacritic currently stands at 76 for the Xbox 360 version of the game, while IGN awarded it a 'passable' 6.0.
"Medal of Honor is one of the bigger disappointments of 2010," concluded Arthur's review.
