NVIDIA today announced the latest addition to its Fermi class of graphics processing units (GPUs), the NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 430, which was specifically designed to provide the horsepower needed to power today's digital media PCs and provide the high definition video and audio experiences that desktop customers demand. With the release of the GT 430, NVIDIA aims to better position itself in the media PC market, where hardcore, high resolution PC gaming takes a backseat to HD video playback, photo and video editing, and Blu-ray 3D capability (Thx:Hot Hardware).
