EA renames multiplayer team to "Opposing Force."

When gamers jump into Medal of Honor's multiplayer portion later this month they will no longer be able to play as Taliban members.
Electronic Arts announced it is renaming the opposing side in the game's multiplayer to "Opposing Force" in response to the media controversy that erupted last month when it was discovered players could pit Taliban forces against U.S. soldiers.
Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer on Medal of Honor, told IGN in an interview this decision was not an easy one to make.
"There was lots of debate back and forth about this," he said. "The fundamental game hasn't changed, it's still the same. We made this change while maintaining the integrity of the game."
"We made the change after a long consideration."
