The stable version of Google's Chrome browser has now received a security update which fixes one bug. The version 1.0.154.59 release tackles an issue in the ChromeHTML URI handler which could allow an attacker to run scripts of his choosing on any page or enumerate files on the local disk under certain conditions. According to Google when loaded in Internet Explorer, a specially crafted HTML page can launch Google Chrome with an arbitrary URI without requiring any user interaction.

To update your browser simply load up the 'About Google Chrome' tab.
