The conquistadors are coming.

Age of Empires III is easily one of this year's most anticipated titles for many PC gamers. While it may have been the early extraordinary visuals that have drawn so much interest, with a company like Ensemble behind it, there's a pretty good chance that the actual gameplay will be top notch as well.
As most RTS fans know, the key to an excellent game is balance. And as people also know, the Age of Empires series is all about historical strategy. Balancing the major powers when North America was the subject of so much conflict should be an interesting task considering how many empires had a stake in the New World.
Over the course of the next few weeks until Age of Empires III is released, we'll be bringing you detailed info on each of the various factions fighting over territory and riches in the game. We've already taken a look at the French so today we're moving on to the Spanish. This country may not be as vocal a player on the world stage as it was while plundering the Caribbean and the New World, but don't let that fool you, they're a force to be reckoned with.
