Black Hawk Down Slips
NovaLogic has announced that Delta Force: Black Hawk Down has slipped from its scheduled October release date and will now ship November 19 and November 29th in Europe.
"One of the main deciding factors for holding the title back a month was to add even more polish to certain key aspects of the game," stated Lee Milligan, President of NovaLogic. "We wanted to place more focus on mission complexity, the improved AI system and the multiplayer co-operative mission mode."
Set in Somalia in 1993, Delta Force - Black Hawk Down is based upon and around the Operation Restore Hope and Task Force Ranger campaigns and follows members of the elite Delta Force, U.S. Army Rangers, 10th Mountain Division and the Night Stalkers as they participate in a number of daring raids against the oppressive Somali warlords in and around Mogadishu.
New Maps for America's Army
A new map pack for America's Army: Operations has been released. The pack offers a pair of new maps, called Weapons Cache and JRTC_Farm. Registration is required to download. The Full version of America's Army: Operations is available for download here.
America's Army Operations Upgrade Revealed
An upgrade to America's Army: Operations is set to be released next week. Expect a new and much larger map, more than a dozen tweaks to existing gameplay, and several new features -- including a Combat Effectiveness Meter and the inclusion of an Honor System. Full Details.
Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror Patch v3.32
Kamehan Studios has issued a new patch for Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror, bringing the retail edition of their team-based multiplayer shooter to version 3.32. American Conquest Movie
A new movie trailer of American Conquest is now available, showing more from this isometric RTS with 3D terrain that is under construction at GSC Game World. The movie offers three and a half minutes of high-resolution footage, roughly evenly divided between gameplay footage and a German overview of the game's features. Download
Real War: Rogue States Ships
Simon & Schuster has announced that Real War: Rogue States has shipped in the US. The modern military real-time strategy sequel, which challenges players to defeat a terrorist organization called the Independent Liberation Army, features 14 single-player missions, 20 new skirmish maps, and a number of new multiplayer options including air-only maps and maps that include or exclude nuclear weapons.
