Subject: To all players and webmasters...

To the players and webmasters who have supported the WDP...

Due to the massive response from all the awesome sites posting our news about our upcoming Falklands War 1982 campaign set and the very popular release of WDP V7.5 the server that my WDP website is presently on took a major beating. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused for some the of the players that have been trying to get into the WDP site. But, we have some good news. A really cool person over in England has offered the WDP website a new home on his server which should allow us the bandwidth needed to keep up with the tremendous response we have received over the last few days.

As most of you know we will never accept any donations or funds for our work so as to keep the project free for everyone to try and to allow us to have the freedom to do what we feel is right for the project without involving the difficulties of what money can bring. If everything works out we should have our new server ready late in the day on June 9th. Other news, the Falklands War 1982 is pushing ahead with 2 full time scenario designers laying the groundwork for the upcoming first installment.

An immense amount of detail and as much historical accuracy as possible is being poured into this project. There will be about 2-3 installments for the FW1982 campaign set with each installment adding more scenarios. There will be historical as well as what-if scenarios designed for each release. Our present schedule for the first FW1982 installment is set for sometime on the weekend of June 17-19.

I would like to thank all of the players who have shown their support for this project and to the newcomers looking to find out what the WDP is all about and for everyone's patience with our present server problems.
