Well, I tried a procedure mentioned in an earlier post by copying the text from a post into the scenery.cfg and editing the directory path.

I thank the individual who posted it. It works fine. Now my problem is only that the textures around the airports show up, but outside of that, nothing.

If you can help and want anything from me to help, I can provide. Just email me and I'll see what I can do.

Thanx in advance.

At the risk of repeating myself (over and over again), FS2000 and CFS2 do not share elevation data, so it won't work. Period. Cities are underground, with building poking up through the ground, the majority of the building underground. Slowly scenery is being added as 3rd party designers create it. Some FS2000 scenery does work, but you are really beating your head against the wall trying to move the whole world from FS2000 to CFS2.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. Well, I hope I can find some good scenery.

I did find, however, that most cities are above ground (the macro's anyway, lik ein DC, the white house), but the surrounding textures are not present.

Thanks and safe flying.

I don't know what I did right, then. I imported all the FS200 stuff over, and it's all there, textures and all. I even had to disable some stuff because I was getting overlapping textures from both programs for the Pacific stuff. I recently took off from NAS Pensacola and overflew my home town and could follow all the familar roads and highways, and maybe I dreamed it but there was a big mall texture right where Cordova Mall should be. I did all this from CFS2.
