I have no proof the man is not who he says.

Answering my challenge says something to that though.

I owe veterans the highest respect, as we all do.

I apologize for my tirade here, I hope everyone can accept that, and understand my intentions, I think I've stated them enough.

I hope you can all get back to business as usual here, I am sorry for the atmosphere I have created, and the fighting it's brought between friends.

I have deep respect for all veterans, and my intentions are not to allow anyone to deny them of that, and in doing so, I realize I may have personally offended a real one here.

I am profoundly sorry for that, I was just making an omlette.

(insert warm smile)

I will discontinue my participation on this board, as I said I would.

Pasha

No need to discontinue your participation on this board, just get back to the topic of discussing CFS2. Save the vet stories and the contradictions for the off topic forum. Alot of us understood the point you were trying to make, just not the way you did it. No reason to leave though.

Pasha - I agree with Boris

You've made some good contributions to the CFS2 community

You were doing fine up till that point. This lays the foundation for the "pity posts" that will soon follow. Why do people feel the need to announce when they are leaving? Just leave.

I have to bump this one, sorry...

Pasha, don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. We're a family in here, and we have family-type squabbles - they're no matter in the long game. You've been honourable and you contribute good stuff in here - and slightly less in f-sim lol.

I'm the type of guy who would normally pull off your arms and legs if you were being dishonourable - trust me on this - you were NOT being dishonourable.

I very much enjoyed Auger's war story when he posted it originally, and when you popped up I had the dead needle to you and almost had a go at you myself. I'm glad that I didn't, because you've tempted Auger into telling us even more about himself and his monkeying about, and you've been gracious in your turn...

Come home, all is forgiven (trust me on this)

Ming out.

It's ok man. I just didn't want you to go opening yourself for possible problems over a lousy posting.

C'mon forget it and let's get back to buiseness here.

Pasha,

Hit the bricks... As has been said before, don't tell us you're going to leave - sniff, sniff, just leave. You are an embarrassment.

Why leave over this, You should have kept your opinion to yourself, so should we get the firing squad out? No i dont think so. So dont leave! its as simple as that. And as for the take a hike and other remarks, He made a error of judgement posting his opinion, he is entitled to his own opinion. so lets cut the get lost routine! Unless you haven,t noticed 99% of the forum dont think any less of Pasha just his actions!

Almost as embarrassing as the schmuck that feels the need to tell someone to leave huh?

Kinda figured you'd be in artillery...taking that pot shot from a LONG way away like that...

For a group which ostensibly honors and appreciates the contributions of veterans, I'm seeing alot of just the opposite -

Integrity = What you say and what you do are the same thing.

BTW Brat, I've got a Ranger tab on my shoulder that says I'll do it up close and personal just as well as from 18 miles away.

Respect is earned. I see a guy making a public apology and getting blasted by two people who claim to be veterans. If you're a veteran...act like one. You berate him for making rude remarks to a "veteran" yet return the favor by being just as rude.

Please keep your cyberthreats to yourself. You are about as intimidating as a coffee stain on my keyboard.

I honor anyone that earns my respect. The majority of veterans fit in this category. I've seen a guy that fought in the Gulf War backhand his wife across the parking lot of a supermarket because she talked back to him...no respect from me there.

I also don't respect people that feel the need to brag about their service record in order to command respect from others.

Good day

Pasha gave his word that he would leave. If he does not leave his word is grass. All you guys are doing is playing the violin music he wants to hear.

I'm finished wasting my time. This is pathetic. Teisco is right on. I won't dignify any more any more of this childishness with a response. Later.

One more thing Brat,

Isn't it great to be able to sit in front of your computer and piss people off, and see their angry responses the next morning?! The problem I see here is that you say you honor and respect veterans, but your actions do not support your words. I take people at their word, and give them respect until I have reason to do otherwise. You and some of your buddies do not. You have attacked, and supported the attacks of others on people you have no reason to disbelieve. My service record is something I am very proud of. My father fought in Vietnam, Great uncles in the Pacific in WWII, Great grandfather in WWI, the list goes back to the revolution. I do not appreciate some wannabee sitting in front of a computer screen berating veterans who have served their country honorably (not on their PC screen). I am sure I have offended you, and others. Obviously, we are not on the same sheet of music. I disagree with your comments, but I will defend to the death your right to have your own opinion, and to express it, even though I may not like it. We can disagree, and that's OK. Let's try not to make it personal. I for one, am done using this forum to discuss these issues. This is not the place for them. I am going to stick to discussions of MSCFS2, and the technical issues of running and/or improving the game. Maybe we can all do the same. It's a shame that someone like Pasha, who I gather is a valued person on this board would end up feeling like he has to leave because of inflammatory personal discussions with people he will never see or meet. Let's all try to keep it civil, and on topic. My E-mail address is in my profile, as is my real name and hometown. I am not, and have never hidden anything behind my computer. These personal grievances or questions with others would probably be handled ideally, in private through E-mail. If someone is, for example found out to be a fraud, and they claim to be a WWII fighter pilot, expose the fraud pubicly - fine. But don't damage someone's reputation pubicly without proof! That's what I wish I could have said to Pasha before all of this crap happened. Anyway, I'm moving on now. I'm done with this. Email me if you would like to continue this discussion. You make some good points. I agree with you that respect is earned. The difference is possibly, that I will give it until it is "unearned."

Cheers, and I hope you are enjoying MSCFS2 as much as I am.

Guess you failed to notice that that was his last post...he's not here. He hasn't posted since and has kept his word. Yet people like you keep whining like school girls.

I never said I was leaving the forum, did I? Who's whining like a schoolgirl? Your buddy's gone. You're the only one with a reason to whine. I opened the door for civilty and moving on with my last post, and you still can't get over it. What a riot. Read the part about wannabees one more time.

Later. You won't see me (in this thread) again
