I intended to release it as part of a larger package, but I lost most of the afternoon setting up my CFS2 web page, and tomorrow it's monday and back to work
You can download it at http://web.tiscalinet.it/jobim/cfs2 in the mods section

Ta very much Nibbio!! As always, your great effort is much appreciated.

PS - any chance of those 'stray round splashes' when making shipping attacks. I know you mentioned you don't even get splashes from flak bursts near the sea surface, but even if was 'random' splashes just to give the effect - you know just more eye candy - this would really add to the spirit. Please say you'll give it a try

Cheers Nibbio

Ken

Ken, I've been thinking about it and like the idea very much.
Thing is, I know how to implement effects "linked" to objects within the game; they can be either always present or triggered by a damage event. I dont't know how to trigger an effect like water splashes to a complex event like "ship flak bursts at low altitude".
But we'll get to it eventually

Nibbio after watching Kamikazi on the history channel we need lots of random splashes. One scene showed an amazing amount of flak, tracers and water splashes. The ocen looked like a dense forrest of splashes. It was increadible. If we could even come close to this effect it would be wild. I would imagine that frame rates would take a heavy hit with this.

Please keep up your great work, love it!

after watching the kamikazi show last nite, i was left wondering how many of thoses aa rounds went into another ship. when the japs were coming in low, the guns were firing almost parallel to the surface of the water. to all who missed it (hist channel) catch it, great footage of attacks.
