I have some issues with CFS2 I think need fixen. Don't get me wrong I like the game but I think it has some work to be done.

1) AI needs tweaking the enimy AI is better then friendly and they need to take the fighter pilots out of the betties.

2)dammage model, they need to fix the "anny type of dammage effects roll rate" problem. Iam sorry but engine damage should not effect the roll rate as it does.

3)they need to add some flyable planes to the list. such as the p40, p39, p38j, f4u1d, f4u1c, p47c, p51b and p51d for the US. the oscar frank tony and jack for japan. they could also add a few more countries like Great britian and Australia with there plane sets huricanes, typhoons, spits and the f4u1a.

4)campaighn needs an over hual you only get two choices US and Japan. it would be rally hoowha of Microsoft to include US army, USMC, RAF, IJA, and AAF. compaigns mabey even using some unit specific campaighns such as the cactus air force, VF-17 jolly rogers and the black sheep. (be nice to have a FLying tiger campiaghn)

5)adding more options to set up such as more sound and video options to get those better frame rates.

6) a better key-joystick configuration utilaty for better set up of the more advanced joysticks like from CH and Old thrustmaster. it also needs to work out side the game.

7) get ridd of the X command and instead use an auto pilot like the one in EAW. (when you get into vis of nmy units it should turn off with the time compression).

8) add more muti-player options, such as multi-player campaighn, team vs team, co-op, and every man for himself. even base capture/defend would be fun (sort of a flight sim equivlent to cature the flag). Multi play is something alot of wwII flight sims miss out on. it can also really bost the replay value of the game. as it stands now this game will probably last about 6 months (2 more then cfs1 did) on my computer.

CFS2 Is a really good game but it could be made alot better with very little work on microsofts part. at least the game is stable but they really put out a watered down sim, expecting 3rd party add ons like abcacus to add to it. I really don't feel like paying for abacus add ons. Iam not a FS player. I don't want to fly a cesna threw chicago. I want to fly a f4u1c over okinawa. I want to sink the yomato. this game is good but it needs some extra ooomph!

Yeah dood, it's missing alot of good stuff.

The Oscar is in there, though.

Another gripe I have is the P-38, it should NEVER be available for Navy, or Marine action, ie; Not from a carrier, and usually only one at a time for intercept.

That's what they did with those... I don't think MS has the USAAF in this sim, but they have one of their planes.

It would be nice to have floatplanes that float.

I completely agree mayhem. All your issues are valid. I have been playing this game everyday for several hours and I have noticed exactly the same symptoms. This game can become awesome with just a few add-ons and fixes. I wanna fly with the flying tigers!!

Those things are going to be fixed/included in CFS 3. Another $39.99 patch.
