Author Topic: C/H ground war

I just finished the first full campaign day
of the Yemen campaign and I've noticed a
few things regarding ground units in the

1.Even though the entire northern border is
devoid of enemy ground units, mine don't
seem to be advancing at all into enemy
territory. Is this just in the Yemen campaign?

2.Ground forces seem to be nothing but
blackhawk-blockers. To take over a FARP or
base it seems that insertion missions are
generated when the area is clear of ground
forces. I have, however, seen insertion
missions generated into heavily SAM and T80
infested areas that come off as a success.

3.It seems fairly goofy that I can have a
full tank brigade sitting 1/2 a click from an
empty enemy base and it is not occupied
until a blackhawk drops into it.

Regardless of these points, I do find
C/H's campaign to be one of the most
incredible experiences of my long simming
life. There are barely any instances where
I say 'Why didn't they implement this?'.
It's almost like they read my mind.
