Boy are we going to be in trouble when the Dean sees that...double secret probation for sure.

Even Donster doesn't dare post anything like that!!!!

Hey, man, that's downright OFFENSIVE!!! It's a jet with no swastika on it! Go haunt the Mig Alley board!

Hehehe... You're right. It's not even a halfway decent Sabre with 6-.50's, it's got 4-20's. Who'd want to fly a plane with a big hole in it anyways?

Looking forward to a really saucy picture of a naked Mustang...

I sure to goddamn wish I had those 4 20s in my Sabre!

No more bouncing .50s off MiG-15s!

Majesty5,
I have been to this AF museum (WPAFB Dayton, Ohio) and have seen this display; itís awesome as are all of the displays. This picture is deceptive you can actually get close enough to see and touch the rifling in the 20mms barrel, a big hole indeed. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in aviation history but you better plan on at least a couple of days you could probably spend 1 day just in the WW2 section

Oh, I would definitely love to go there, no doubt. My father's been, and he mentioned the same thing, that you could spend a lot of time in there. I especially want to see the F-94C and the Sabre Dog, since he spent most of his AF time calibrating the radar on the first and was learning how to work on the second. I said that if we go, he should walk up to the -94C and open up all the panels and give me the grand tour. He saw the picture from the website and spent a bit of time telling me about how to open it up and service it; it's been damned near 50 years but he still remembers well. The museum is one of my personal Future Pilgrimage Sites.

Salute! to your father Majesty and his service. If you make the pilgrimage bring some cash for the bookstore its unreal how many titles they have, must be 30 books on stukas alone! or you might fancy your own leather flight jacket (400$) which reminds
me they have a show case of donated flight jackets worn by various pilots and crew members (mostly WW2) very interesting.
I live in the area and if you decide to come and have any questions pls feel free to ask
S!
