Careful what you say about Moose, them is BIG babies!!!

I got one a couple of years ago and it took three of us 2 hours to move it from one side of a tote road to the other (20 ft) and then into the back of a pick-up.

Besides, with some of the "women" up here, the only difference is the flannel shirt!!

Maybe you could use the Antlers for a Satellite dish and use em for online play?

Well I was figuring the Moose since I figured it wouldn't take 3 of ya 2 hours to get a woman across the road. Figured if SHE was that big she would have hauled all of ya across by herself! HEE HEE HEE!

Ya gotta shoot'm first (the Moose), then haul'm. Some guys just bring a chainsaw into the woods and bring'm out that way.

I was lucky, he was standing in the road and only got about 20 ft down the road and off to one side before he dropped. 4 shots, 770 dressed out.

As for the women, well....we have some genuine Flanker babes up here, yes sir re Bob, some real Flanker Babes!!!

We got em here in Iowa too. But not to many that dress out at 770. Women that is. We do get an occasional stray moose in from Minnesota once in awhile. But they say they have a parasite in the brain and just wander until they die. Come to think of it, people seem to have the same problem when they come here. HEE HEE HEE!

Mane: "Look Donster! There's a moose! 'BANG!'

Donster: "You gott'im!"

Mane: "Wow! Let's load'im in the truck!"

Mane & Donster grunt and heave, but the moose is too hard to drag until Donster comes up with a plan.

Donster: "Hey Mane. Let's drag the moose from the other end. It'll be easier."

Mane: "Ok, that sounds like a great idea! Why didn't I think of that?"

An hour later...

Donster: "See? I told you it would be easier to drag the moose from this end."

Mane: "Yeah Donster, but we've been dragging this moose for an hour and we keep getting farther from the truck!"

Hahahahahahahahah, ROTFLMFAO, again and again,,,That's great Airbuddha, GREAT!!!!

I don't know if you have seen a moose up close, but them critters are a lot of dead weight!!!! You don't just lift one end and heave!!! We used a come-a-long and block and tackle in order to get the beast in the truck for the ride back to the tagging station. I got him at 6:30 and we did not head back until 8:30. There was a light mist and if you think wet dog fur is bad, you have not lived until you have had your first wiff of wet dead moose hide early in the morning. That'll clear you right up!!!

just wondering??

instead of taking 2 hours to move the moose across the road and into the back of the truck, why not just drive the truck across the road??

Oneway,

Reason for the drag was that there was a ditch on the other side that we put the truck in. That way we did not have to lift 770 pounds of dead wet moose.

Dragged that sucker across and into the bed of the truck, then drove out of the ditch.

Remember, there's always a way if your committed!!!

ROFLMAO!! You guys are nuts! Guess that's why I feel so comfortable here.

Your moose story reminded me of something a comedian (Brant Von Hoffman) I taught to fly some years ago (another story altogether) said about moose.

No matter where you go in the country, spoting goods stores, hunting lodges, etc., every single moose head you see hanging on a wall has that same dumb expression, as if their last thought was, "Is that a gun?"

And speaking of Flanker babes in your neck of the woods, you ever drive through this part of the country down here in Arkansas, just put on your "blinders" if you want to get through here without hurling. One little town I lived in when I first moved here, population about 200, when a fellow likes a girl he just met, buys her a little necklace with a 1 inch cube of salt on it, called "Saltlick on a Chain"

Jeff Foxworthy's remark, "If you go to family reunions to meet girls..." is closer to truth than fiction around here.
