I've already noticed several sites that appear to have thundered in due to hits. This is probably shaping up to be the biggest load on the Internet day since it's creation.

Is anyone else noticing? Try looking for anything remotely connected to the Millenium ceremonies going on. The only one I can get to currently is the lame Times Square webcam by the discovery channel.

Look at the fools standing around on cold cement already! I'd be in a bar if I was there right now.

developed it may be." - Adolf Galland.

Slow here too. I tried to send an e-mail attachment with two different services and gave up trying to upload anything (and it was only 33.7Kb!). Thank goodness I can get into the EAW Forum without any trouble! I haven't tried to get into a Millenium watching site.......too many better things to do, like playing Reese's Ostfront Campaign.

I've been watching sites around the world today too. Our mills in Korea went thru the change just fine, no problems at all.

I had one guy from our main mill here in the states call me at 9:30 this am, 12/31 and say his PC was acting up because of the "Y2K" bug. My boss wanted to go down to the mill floor and hit him with a fly swatter a few times. Then tell him he was just getting rid of the y2k bug. We talked him out of it. Guys problem...needed to defrag his hard drive.

BTW I wrote this 30 minutes ago and just got back on to send it, 7 re-dials

Check six & aim for the cockpit.
