ButcherBird,

You posted a question regarding a phenomenon you had encountered when clicking banners on our site.

I was just about to respond again when your thread disappeared. As the topic creator, you are able to delete the entire thread. Question is, did you delete it?

The irony of this situation is that I was about to say that since I implemented this forum software I'd never experienced the problem you described. I was also going to go on and answer some of the folks who pointed out their posts had disappeared.

If this were a movie, there'd be ominous music in the background I'm sure. Spooky.

Admin,

I tried to start a new thread tonite, it was there after I posted it, and about 5 minutes later it was gone. I responded to ButcherBirds thread, and awhile later it was gone too. A thread I started last nite was there this morning, and now it is no longer there either. Really weird. Any ideas? If you are not doing it, could someone on the outside be doing it? I also clicked on the BOTB banner and it goes to Mig Alley contest questions!

Check out pages 14 and 15 after you select "Show all Topics". All the missing threads, including ButcherBird13's original observation of this problem and where the threads went to, are there.

Donster,

Don't be too impressed. ButcherBird13 was the one who spotted what was happening, I've just been nosing around the forum all day minding everyone else's business.

Anyway, it seems that the dates of the posts are going whacky. Could this be a Y2k related problem? Or shall we blame El Niño? Or blame it on the Boogie?

I know! BLAME IT ON THE FLANKERITES!

Hooroo from the Groovy Roo Guru.

If you find your missing post and add a response, it will return back to the 1st page.

The Voodoo card joke I posted earlier today is back on the main forum and you can see the name of the unregistered user that moved it off the board by changing the way the date is displayed.
