Please feel free to participate!

The French have now banned fireworks displays at Euro Disney.

Reason: after last evenings fireworks display the soldiers at a nearby French army garrison surrendered.

********************************************************

Not having the French with us against Iraq is like not having an accordion with you while hunting.

It's irrelevant, it's aggravating and it serves no useful purpose.

*******************************************************************

Q: How do you stop a French tank?

A: Shoot the guy that's pushing it!

This is all very funny and I don't mind it, but . . .

it is possible that the French, Germans and Russians are acting in their perceived best interests . . .

which is exactly what we're doing.

Granted, I think they're short-sighted and wrong, but I prefer to keep an open mind.

Ok...now where was I...

Q. How do you introduce yourself in French?

A. "Don't shoot, I give up!"

Q. What do you get when you toss a hand grenade into a kitchen in France?

A. Linoleum blownapart.

Q. How do you recognize a French war veteran?

A. Sunburned armpits.

The European space agency chose a plain near the martian equator as the future landing site of their Beagle 2 lander. The European lander will carry soil analyzers, atmospheric instruments, and at the request of France, a pre-signed treaty of surrender.

OK, the four words that sends fear through the hearts of every Frenchman?

"The Germans are coming."

Couldn't help it.

"How many French troops does it take to defend Paris"?

No one knows, it's never been done before.

An old one that anyone can be inserted into but:

Good French rifles for sale. Never been fired, only dropped once.

I guess what I don't understand is why the USA is being so hard on a country that, if it weren't for them the USA might not even exist.

Heck, Canada has more to gripe about on that score. We were traded in for some little islands in the Carribean .

Hmmmm, the way this winter is going maybe it was a good idea.

You may never see this Sulla, but I think any debt we owed to the French was re-paid, in spades, about 58 years ago at a little place called Normandy.
