I ask myself if someone is working on bigger ww2-carriers that could be used instead of the default ones (they are imho too small in comparison to the planes).
I know it is possible because there is already a large carrier (USS Stennis or similar), but this one is a modern carrier that doesn't fit in the ww2-scenario.

So, does anybody know if there are some talented guys that are working on this?

Oh yeah! I can see it now a large carrier
with bombers on it and a mission named
30 Seconds over Tokyo.This sim is to much!

The guy who built the Stennis is currently working on a WW2 escort carrier. (I believe).
Should be out one of these days.
Would be interesting to see how it compares with the stock ones. (escort carriers were smaller)

Hi Guys ---

Yep it is fun with the carriers!!! If you have a chance, take a look at some of the original WW2 Pacific photos of carrier ops taking place on the carriers!! It apprears to me that the width of the decks are anywhere from two to three times the wing span of the planes in most of the real photos I have seen in old military and aircraft books!!!!
