Hi,
looking forward... after the release of IL-2...

I need as more as possible details/blueprints/photos of Japanese WWII aircraft cockpits.

- instrument panels,
- indicators
- interior
- etc.

If anybody can help......

How looks our standard for cockpits, please take a look here: http://209.198.154.16/il2-e/products/screenshots.asp?id=

Hmmmmmm What could this be about?

He's planning on releasing an addon pack that will cover the Russian/Japanese conflict in Manchuria after VE-day.

Il-2 certainly has potential

So If he wants jap interiors and panels and so on, this means that means the Il2 won't be the only flyable plane in the game?

Il-Sturmovik is shaping up to be the the most impressive flight sim to date. (Fingers crossed!) Oleg Maddox and his crew have also turned out to be the most receptive and approachable team yet seen for the historical flight sim community. They are setting the standards that MS needs to emulate.

Il-2 has 17 flyables now, and, Oleg has already as much as announced another half dozen in demand aircraft, Now he's looking at the pacific.....He has also said that anyone can model a plane and panel, send it to him, and his crew will do the flight model to deter multiplayer cheats.
Oleg HAS to be the hardest working man in the sim biz. And I think it's going to pay of for him, and US.

Aye, I agree, this sim is turning out to look like it will blow away all other sims. (Lets keep our fingers crossed)

One of the few still out there that still take pride in their work, and say damn to the bottom line.
The funny thing is they both go hand in hand, if you make a sim good in one or two things but sloppy in others (aka WWII Fighters, pretty, but suck-a$$ flight model and damage model) it may sell well at first until word gets around about how bad it really is underneath, then future sims they may make nobody will buy them, but,....

If you make a great sim overall, doing everything right, it will sell well at first and continue to sell as word of mouth spreads.
Plus your future sims stnad a better chance of selling just as well or better. (for example: Micrprose with Pacific air war and its sequel European air war)

And Oleg look like he is pulling out all the stops for this sim, I cant wait.
