Anyone know is anyone has made some CFS2 .air files for imported CFS planes ?

I've installed the CFS planes in Quick Combat, but there seems little point in flying them when a Spit or Hurricane can comfortably out-climb anything the Japanese can put up (and would probably give a MiG 15 a run for it's money ).

And while I'm at at (less confident of an answer here), is there any way of getting the panel gauges to read accurately ?

Any help appreciated....

Hello Herstrom!!!

Here is what I have experienced. I imported the Sopwith Camel from FS2000 to experiment with and have made it into a fun-fly type airplane. In the process I noted that the .DP file will modify/override the .AIR file contents in CFS2. I actually created a .DP file for the imported Camel, which works fine in CFS2 -- put another way, CFS2 will look for a .DP file and use the contents when available ----
Since I have not imported any CFS planes yet, I am not sure how those function but assuming they are the same, you should be able to create a .DP file for them and modify the general flight params without having to actually edit the .AIR file. I have done it both ways...!!!

Good Luck ---- BB ----
