Get low 20's at 8x6(x16) and stutters. Not using high graphics options. 640x480 hardly any better. What gives, system should be smooth.

Duron 700, GeForce MX, Win Me, 128 ram, 250 swap file. MS FF stick.

(Also mission #2US. Brakes on, gun engine, brakes off, splash. Every time. Saw previous thread, but this is annoying!)

try shutting off sound while flying I think the letter Q does this, it sent my frame rate through the roof. for a more perm fix go into control panel and then to system devices under your soundboard there should be something about wavetable midi or something similar, check the box that says disable in this profile. you wont believe the difference!

Joe I had the same problem, try shutting off your ForceFeedback. Mine jumped from 30FPS to 50FPS by switching to a non-FF joystick.
