I successfully completed the "Return to Pearl" mission (not that hard) and returned to land on the Kitthawk. On my third time around, I came into low and had a ramp strike. My prop was knocked out, and my planes bounced of the deck into the air and over the side. However, as I always land and take off with my canipy open with just such a situation in mind, a couple of quick taps on the "O" key got my pilot out of the Wildcat, and his parachute openedjust before he fell into the wate just inches to the starbord of the flight deck. However, my mission debrief said I had been captured by the enemy. Now I understand bailing out next to the Marcus Islands will get me capture, but if I am next to the my aircraft carrier, you would think somebady would notice the chute and come looking for me.
