Can't under stand microsoft, Got a great looking sim here { as real as it get's according to the manual} Yet there's no toggle for the padlock brackets. they could not have undermined the realism in this sim any more then if they had made all the pilots look like porky pig and daffy duck.

Amen to that. Should be a toggle for the stupid yellow brackets, they really suck.

And anyone having probs with the padlock? It worked only once for me (SHIFT+tilde), now it does nothing.
But I'm getting real good with the hat-pan.

Siggi, it seems that on a UK keyboard padlock is set using the 'inverted comma' on the @ key. It took me hours to get my HOTAS set up correctly. The manual could have been written in Japanese for all the help it was on key configuration - well at least if it had been you might have been able to read it

Thanks Yardy, I'll give that a go. Could be I hit the right key by mistake when it worked the first time.

As for reading that stuff, no way!!! I know maybe 100 kanji, the other 19,900...jeez.

So how are you liking CFS2? Want some squad action? We have two vacancies left if you're interested.

I agree, the "conventional" TD box would have been enough for me, if anything at all.

I thought I'd heard that those damn ugly brackets could be turned off in CFS2, but I haven't seen how.
