I wish the wingman would turn off their NAV lights when well away from home plate. Don't want pretty NAV lights giving my position away to enemy. And I wish the enemy would be able to find and attack me more easierly if I did fly around with NAV lights on. You should be punished for doing that.
Also I really wish there was a wind-sock at FARPS and Bases so can quickly determine wind direction and strength for landings and takeoffs.
Also I have noticed that while on autopilot that my chopper flys through ships and other objects without any damaging effects, wish it where true, but it aint.
Also other friendly choppers are landing on top of me before I have taken off.....wierd?
But after saying all that, this is a fantastic sim, and i love it!
Cheers Brent out!
p.s I have patched to the latest version.

I would like to see (well, hear actually) better sound effects. Particularly with the sounds of missiles firing and of fixed wing aircraft. The helis sound great, obviously that's where the concentration was.

Great game though... I absolutely love it and I only have the demo! Is the full version out in USA yet?

...

The strength and direction of wind is always given to you in Briefings and also ATC audio would tell you wind strength on take-off and landing permisiion.

Mr Bigglesworth , you will glad to hear that all the SFX and speech can be replaced with your own, look for flexman's CH utilty at www.simhq.com that does the job.
Maybe Meatwater from EAW will do a sound pack.

I'd like the gatling in the Comanche to be free ranging instead of either firing straight ahead or being locked up.
I'd also like the armour to deploy properly.
And finally, I'd like to see my wingmen in smooth flight, not being yanked up like they're on a piece of string when they come across an obstruction to their flightpath.
These points would make a good start!!

Cheers
Ken

I would like to see keyboard mapping so I could actually use my HOTAS system. The hat can't be programmed to do "shift" "arrow". What a dumb system! Too bad - 'cause otherwise it has potential.

Indeed! It's about time your stick manufacturer gets a better system that allows to programm SHIFT-ARROW to the hat! Other sticks do without a problem!

Ummmm, touche'. I hadn't thought of that! Yeah, damn it, you're right! Problem is, there are lots of sims that use it and not very many HOTAS systems.

One thing I would really like is to have the darn trees turned off when the terrain graphics are set to low. The taiwan campaign goes from smooth to slide show and the back again. Kinda annoying when i'm trying to chase down an enemy chopper.

Might be a bummer for the coders though, I don't know, I just like flying as smooth as possible.
