Okay. I give up. IS it possible in EECH to train the gatling without having a lock-on? I've tried everything to train the gun around but it insists on firing straight forwards unless I have something locked up. I thought it followed eye movement wherever you looked?
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers
Ken

I don't think you're doing something wrong. What you describe is just the how it is. The gun fires straight forward if you don't have a target and only in any other way when you have a lock. As far as I know it's not possible to train the gatling.

It works that way due to a requirement of the networking code.

All non-boresighted weapons require a target object to make it work. Limitation of design.

This is one area where Gunship preforms better than EECH and LB2. You can lase any arbitary spot on the ground and not limited to designating vehicles. Although the cannon in LB2 is free roaming.
