Yeah, that's the thing of the day, isn't it! Everyone has something to say about the EECH patch!
But, why, its a great patch! At least it improves the gameflow- so it does for me. The game now runs nearly as smooth as silk! Also, the graphic glitches aren't this bad anymore if you start the game WITH TnL.

One thing - which has nothing to do with the patch - anyone noticed that the field of view of the Hokum periscope is wrong? Since it is mounted over the cabine you should be able to cover a wide field of view from ABOVE. But turn it hard to the left or right until you can see your own weapons and tell me from where do you look onto them... right, from beneath! So it seems like the periscope is mounted underneath the fuselage- which it isn't! hehehe

The periscope is different from the roof mounted Samshit ball, it's located under the chopper and is direct view optics (hence it's in colour). There's also the Shikval turrent under the nose.

I have a picture of the periscope can sticking out the bottom but can't be bothered to go to the trouble of scanning it in.

Yes, it's below and a little forward of the CP/G's station. You can see it turn in external views.
