Got a bit of a tech problem in Commanche-Hokum v1.8B. Using the view hat switch for view panning on my Suncom F-15E / SFS programmable joystick/throttle combo is problematic at best. The SPI programming software HATES "alt" modifiers for the cursor keys...I think it has something to do with the macro timing involved. Apache-Havoc had a similar difficulty, but A-H didn't lock out keyboard view inputs like. It's most frustrating...if I keep tapping away at the "alt" key, the coolie hat will function properly. Unfortunately, this also seems to "lock on" the alt key, so all other keypresses now carry the alt modifier. rapid tapping of the alt key will then (usually) turn the alt modifier off, and also disables the view function.
Confused? So am I...=)
Boy, a keymapping option would really be great...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What did you finally end up doing about this? I didn't really understand the significance of your message at first because I had neither a Talon nor EECH when you posted it. Now I have both and I am in your shoes. Thanks
