There's a new skin for the G4M Betty available at Airbuddha's Hangar -- authored by little old me. It fits into the He111 slot, but it uses the B-26 Marauder shape -- hence the need to install both TPC and 3DZ files for it to work properly.

There will be plenty more Japanese skins coming out as soon as Charles Gunst releases ECA Panel 2.1 (or 3.0, whichever he decides to call it). I hope it's soon -- I've got seven skins already completed. Many of them will make use of 3DZ files, so you'd better get comfy about installing them (don't be afraid!).

Very nice Betty. A B-26 Looks more like a real Betty than a He-111.

ECA Control Panel v3.0 shouldn't be too long now. It would have been released already, but the new North African encoureaged me to add a North African place names option, and it is a bit time consuming coding all the names. Should be out within the week, though.

Jamie,

Great looking Betty! Is it only 3DFX? Will it work well with TNT? Thanks.

As I understand it, any skin that works with 3DFX will work with TNT, but not vice versa. The problem is with the palettes -- TNT allows palettes to be modified in a way that 3DFX doesn't. So 3DFX skins must use the palettes already present in EAW, but TNT skins can use customized palettes. I think I have that right.

Anyways, this Betty will certainly work for anyone.

Thank you Charles, North Africa is a must as far as I am concerned. I want to bomb Bengahzi!
