I am not sure about being able to do anything in the .ini file, but you might try this. Make sure you if have any programs running in the background to shut them down.
Use Control-Alt-Delete and shut down every thing but Explorer,and Rundll. This will help free up alot of Ram. You could even disable your sound card in Device Manager.
Just use the Disable option, not delete of course. Hope this helps.
