Murphy's Laws Of Combat

1. If the enemy is in range, so are you!
2. When in doubt empty your magazine.
3. The most dangerous thing in a combat zone is a second Lieutenant with a map.
4. Incoming fire has the right of way.
5. If you are short of everything except enemy, you are in combat.
6. Never forget your own weapon was made by the lowest bidder.
7. If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.
8. Try to look unimportant because the enemy may be low on ammo.
9. The simple things are always hard.
10. The enemy invariably attacks on two occasions; when they're ready, when they're
11. When both sides are convinced they are about to lose, they are both right.
12. The further you are in advance of your own positions, the more likely your artillery
will fall short.
13. Mines are equal opportunity weapons.

21. Don't look conspicuous, it draws fire.
22. There is nothing more satisfying than having someone take a shot at you, and

24. You ain't short until the Freedom Bird has left the ground.

There is no problem that can not be solved with suitable use of high explosives.
