I notice this is a piece I'm able to carry with the Me410. Was that not a radio-guided glide bomb?

How do I guide it? (I know it's likely not possible). I haven't tried it yet, I just noticed it as I was clicking over the weapons options in the arming menu. I didn't think it appropriate for an escort mission, though escorting a bunch of He111's, in the middle of the day, to London in 1943 in Me410's isn't exactly appropriate, either. But I did bag a couple of Spit IX's (I had to work for those) so it wasn't too bad. But I digress.

What's up with the Fritx-X?

I believe that the fritz x was a glide bomb. I know it was mostly used against shipping so you might want to go off and find some ships. If you read the readme file for eca it tells you where to find some shipping. As to firing it. I couldnt tell you. Im interested myself, Perhaps it automatically goes to youe selected target. I know one time a saw a show on those things they also had the henschel, which was pretty much a fritz with a motor. That was cool. I know that the fritz was usually carried by he-111s and dorniers and perhaps a ju 88 here and there. But like I said just find some ships and see what you can see. Im interested to see myself

I took out a ship with the Fritz yesterday. It was on an interdiction mission to Normandy against sherman tanks. I strafed the tanks with my cannons, and went after the ships. I nailed a destroyer with cannons, then turned towards a transport. I thought the Fritz was going to miss, by a small margin, but when the missile exploded, the ship went with it. What a hit! I like the Fritz.

Wings had a show, or maybe more than one, on these things. I think it was called something like, "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe". The Fritz-X and others were covered. Lots of good footage. The one that was the most amazing was the infrared guided missle which was to be used against bombers. Imagine a 262 with about four of those babies! I'm glad they didn't get it working by war's end.
