Any of you boys know of books that deal with the hardcore tactics of the RAF or Luftwaffe? A book that manly concentrates on the actual tactics and how they were performed? Ive good Luftwaffe Fighter Ace's by Mike Spick but I thought the author drfited from the tactical stand point too much.Any recomendations? Thanks!

You want hardcore tactics?

"Fighter Combat: Tactics and Maneuvering" by Rob Shaw, if you got the intellect for it.

Otherwise: Mike Spick's "Luftwaffe Fighter Aces" and its follow-on "Allied Fighter Aces". Both address the top aces and the tactics they developed.

Good luck,

Troy

One more thing: check out "Aircraft vs. Aircraft" (I can't remember the author - my copy is out in the trunk of my car and I'm too lazy to go get it).
