Good ol' yellow 14, ace of the week's plane!

I haven't flown the F yet in EAW 1942, how does it fly?

Hey, Donster!

Where do you get those cool pics from (and in this case, I mean the planes and pilots, hehe...)

Isn't it missing the squadron crest, though? I believe it was the ultra-un pc pic of a leopard about to eat a cartoonish negro, wasn't it? Probably why they left it off.

Gavin,

Not all of JG-27's aircraft carried the unit crest. In fact, I believe only 3 of Marseille's Me-109's actually carried them as well. But on another note, they were one of the few units, who took the time to paint the unit crest on their aircraft during the 1945 Defense of the Reich campaign. JG-27 and JG-77 being the major units to retain Me-109K's during that year. Most others flew 109G's, and different models of the FW-190. AS for flying the Franz within EAW, I feel it's the best handleing 109 around. Very forgiving, and loads of ammo. Runner up is the Me-109K-4.

The BF109K4/R2 is actually my favourite plane to fly in EAW...fast, nice handling, and decent weaponry.
