Has anybody had this prob using the CFS Terrain. Its along the coast lines. I get very sharp edge color seperations between light blue coastal waters and a dark blue deep waters. The edges are straight and sharp with not blending.

I can live with it as is but is there something I am missing that will blend the water better.

just my effort to add to EAW Forum since it behind the F2 one...

Blade,

Go to Migge's site http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Launchpad/4145/and download the file terfix.zip. Look under news.
It fixes that problem.

Boy, I'm tempted to download that CFS terrain into a second EAW folder called "European Air WarCFS". That'd work right? Simply install a second EAW to the new folder?

My question is or I should say request is what does the CFS terrain look like at 50'? Could someone post a screen shot at treetop level so I can see the degree of blur?

Bigshot,
Yes to your first question.
The CFS terrain is great from altitude, but lousy at low level. IMHO

Mein Herren

I've installed ze CFS terrain- und ja- it looks great S! to ze creators- A question as an uniformed non-European in real life- Ich visited ze UK a couple of time, und Ja- it is a very "busy" scenery from ze air in zhis day und age- My question is zhis- how busy was it durin '39-45?- Is ze more "scarce" houses in ze original EAW terrains not more accurate?

Danke

E.R.

Donster; I hate to disagree with you, but I've been flying EAW2 now for a couple hours with the CFS terrain with Miggie's fix and it's great. At high res (1280), it's not really any different than any other terrain at low altitude. Other than the colors are really sharp. With my TNTv4400 it's clear all the way down to the treetops and not bad at all on the ground. Just a slight blurr just before impact. HEHEHE It's like flying a vastly improved version of CFS which I also like. Only EAW beats it bad which doesn't make it a poor sim. Just makes EAW a great sim. I highly recommend the CFS terrain and the autumn terrain.

Bigshot,

I really like it too! But I just think low level is just not as good as EAW original. I really like the winter terrain. Have to try the autumn!
