Can we someday run F-15 under 1024x768 or it is completely impossible tecnically?

Apparently you can run it in 3d cockpit mode at higher resolutions through use of special drivers, but that's it. No higher-res mode for the 2d cockpit.

What is the maximum resolution of Jane's F15 ?
I am using TNT V550 right now, and I can't find the place to change the resolution.
thanks

You're stuck at 640 X 480, my friend. That's the single choice.

Not so...there are a set of drivers from Wicked3d, that were hacked bby someone to work with any Voodoo2 card which allow you to force any res up to 1024x768. I used this, and while it REALLY does look like brand-new, there is a serious performance hit in screens with 2D cockpit (all 3D fine) cos what it does is rescale all bitmaps to new size and so makes then unreadable & hence unusable

But the external shots have to be seen to be believed

Well, O.K. But since he's usin' a TNT that would effectively leave him out, right?

That is until the Voodoo 5 arrives. Full scene anti-aliasing will make a noticeable difference in the 640x480 res. (but still no 800x600).

You should see Longbow 2 at 1064 res (Wicked 3D) it`s like a brand new sim. No noticable FPS hit. Wow.... Longbow still rules in the rotary sim department.
