I've just purchased F/A-18 Super Hornet by DI,and am enjoying it immensely.
I was wondering, though, if anybody could tell me how to activate and operate the recon pod - i can't find any reference to it in the manual or the cockpit. This may be a simple and common problem, but I'm afraid I'm more at home in a Spit than these new-fangled jets

The command for the recon pod is "t" -listed on my hard to read keyboard map as "transmit reconaissance data". The best way to work it I've found is to press and hold the key when closing under 2 miles to the target. The UFD will display 3 lines, NO RECON, or some such, and then will have 1 line that says RECON SENT or similar. That's it.

Good luck,

hoser

Thanks Hoser, that's exactly what I needed to know. I just looked at my keyboard sheet and there it is, staring me right in the face.

Maybe my eyes aren't what they use to be, but I'm sure that text never used to be that small...

Thanks again, and keep flying,

Smoke

Not your fault SMOKE

DIGINT musthave been running out of money or something before they produced their outrageous, pathetic, incorrect, tiny key reference.

I expect them to produce a decent one online we can all download.
