This is what I have heard from others:
1. There is very little performance gain in using it.
2. It loves memory. I have seen that it is best to have over 128mb.
3. Not all games are compatible with it. Check the individual message boards to see if there are issues with a particular game/sim.
4. It is a MUCH more stable operating system. Reboots are much less frequent.
If it follows the way previous NT kernel operating systems have installed, it should allow you to do a dual boot, keeping both Win 98 and 2000 on the same system. You simply chose which OS you want when you power up.
