Maybe. Maybe not.
Whether it runs well or not has little to do with your system at this point.

awe shaddup plummer :P
however he does have a point.
it might not want to run
read the readme.txt
read it carefully and pay heed to it.
get some more ram before you start to whine about texture buil up
be prepared to tweak your machine, if not, buy a nintendo
it runs perfectly fine on my rig:
pIII700 256Mb V5 5500 Windows 2000 DirectX8

If you are worried about whether it will run or not, buy it from a shop that offers a 10 day return period like Electronics Boutique. That will give you a chance to try it, tweak it and either enjoy it or get well pissed off. If the latter is the case then return it to the shop and get a different game or pre-order IL-2.

Depends more on your configuration obviously than your system specs, I have a 600mhz intel with 128mb and a geforcemx, runs like a dream on full detail at 800x600.

Horses for courses here
PIII500 256 PC100SDRAM V3x2AGP 1024x768 flown for 30hrs (longest realtime 6hrs)
Terrain at balanced

Stutter is the buzz word here as it appears to affect *a lot of machines* regardless of spec 1GHz-PII400/GeForce GTS etc

CTDs with full terrain detail and *real time* flying NO TIME SKIPPING using view keys. These are all under investigation by Wayward just now.

Andy:

Go to Bombs Away and read abt B-17-2. You should be able to answer your own question after reading and doing some homework.
