Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord opened up a new spectrum in World War II tactical gaming. Will Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin continue this advance of excellence or just be the old game in Russian colors?

Good read Bismark, looks interesting......but I can't stand turned based games, unless its a strategy game, I like the real time factor when things change minute by minute. (CC games)

I played the demo to the first one, very sad when your tank is firing at troops and the an enemy tank rolls out from cover and your tank ignores it cause the last command in your turn was to target the troops.......me didn't like it.

The trick is to limit your manual targeting. Left alone, your unit would have taken on the tank, all things remaining equal, such as level of crew skill, visiblity, optics, weather.

As for real time <sigh>...enjoy yourself as I learn more.

There was a possiblity of me getting this, that was until I couldn't fix the graphics problem in the demo. Couldn't play it.

Good review though

Bilkers,

Check the BFS forums; maybe they can help.

I see demos as a doubled-edged sword. Expect a column about it one of these days,

I did Bissers,

The advice I got was to update drivers, which didn't work.
