Raider from the FSDOE messageboard has been doing a great job redoing the P-51 that shipped with the game!! The P-51 now has bullet holes that show up with ammounting damage, opening canopy, pilot has moving head, moving control stick, moving throttle, gear get disabled at certain speeds, prop enlarged, 3d exhaust pipes, control surface damage modeling, and finally, a real air inlet!!! Check these pics out!!!

That's awesome! So detailed it hardly resembles the original 51 that came with sim. Yep, the community over there knows their stuff.

Heh, haven't flown SDOE for yonks, it's time to dust off the stick and open the scoop on my modem's radiator, it should help hwen downloading this and the other AC release off hwich I missed lately

you might want to check out www.bombs-away.net

After the whole non-MP scandal in B-17II, some of the guys over there decided to take matters into their own hands and collaborate and write their own WWII air sim. Granted, the project will take quite a while to finish but they will need guys to model air-craft, etc. You and a bunch of the other SDOE guys might want to check it out.

Check in the homebuilt section man, they won't be needing any planes for quite a while though.
