Fallout 76 has gone live on PC, seemingly everywhere in the world. We’ve just logged into servers from the US west coast and the UK, and we’re seeing reports from players around the globe that they’ve been able to start playing as well.

It may not appear that way at first—when launching the game, we were treated to a menu screen saying “We’ll see you for launch day on Wednesday, November 14″, but clicking and waiting a few seconds brings up the ‘Play’ menu, even in parts of the world where it’s still Tuesday.

Looks like Reclamation Day started a little early!

Fallout 76 is not releasing on Steam, at least for now, so like the beta it’ll only be playable via Bethesda’s own launcher. You can download that here by scrolling to the bottom right of the page.

tom-clancys-the-division-2The Division 2 has been fully unveiled at E3 2018. Set in Washington D.C., the game takes place seven months after a deadly virus was released in New York City and the nation has become a shell of its former glory. While the virus has been contained, its effects are most evident in the devastated streets of the nation’s capital where survivors cling to hope and struggle to rebuild. Enter The Division, a unit of civilian sleeper agents who now must work to stop enemy factions from completely taking over the city – and ultimately, the nation. As a universally-regarded seat of power, if D.C. falls, the nation falls. With civilians helpless and fearing for their lives, players will be the last line of defense in preventing the total collapse of society.

Set in a one-to-one recreation of Washington, D.C., The Division 2 has been shaped by all the lessons the development team learned from listening and collaborating with players since The Division’s launch more than two years ago. As a result, the game has been developed with an endgame-first mentality. For players, this means that from day one, The Division 2′s main campaign will naturally flow into a robust endgame with its own narrative thread and unique challenges.

Progress also continues long after Level 30. Once you reach the level cap, you’ll be able to select a Specialization. Each Specialization, like sharpshooter, demolitionist, or survivalist, comes with its own progression path. These paths introduce new skill mods, talents, and tools, including brand new signature weapons. As you further customize your Agent, you’ll also have access to a wealth of PvP experiences, including a fully revamped Dark Zone experience. Additionally, in a first for the franchise, eight-player raids will make their way to The Division 2. These challenging missions will test the skill, communication, and teamwork of even the most expert Agents.

While there will be tons of content available on day one, The Division 2 is committed to continually offering new content updates. Post-launch, the game will see the inclusion of a year’s worth of story-driven missions, map expansions, and new modes for free.

Players can register for beta access now for a chance to play at http://thedivisiongame.com/beta.

For those who want even more content, an optional premium pass will give you access to one year of exclusive add-ons. The Division 2 will arrive in March 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

More game information and to view the first four trailers for the game can be found on the official Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 website.

fallout-76Source: IGN

Fallout 76 is an upcoming game published by Bethesda Softworks. It was revealed without additional information about platforms, gameplay, release date, and even which specific division of Bethesda Game Studios is working on it, so there’s very little detail to comb through until we find out more at E3.

For now, we’ve compiled all the information about Fallout 76 that’s out there so far, including news, trailers, and rumors. We’ll continue to update as more info rolls in, so if you don’t see what you’re looking for yet, keep checking back!

Fallout 76 was revealed on Wednesday, May 30 with a teaser trailer featuring what appears to be a resident of Vault 76.

Fallout 76 Setting

Until it’s officially confirmed, we won’t know for sure where or when Fallout 76 takes place – we don’t even know for sure what kind of game Fallout 76 is – but there are a few hints in the teaser trailer.

A date on the Pip-Boy in the trailer reads 27 October 2102 – 25 years following the Great War. If this is the year most of the game takes place in, that would place Fallout 76 before Fallout 1, 2, 3, and 4 chronologically.

At the end of the trailer, we see a resident of Vault 76 and decorations for an event called “Reclamation Day.” Vault 76 is one of the 17 known “control” vaults mentioned in Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. It has 500 occupants, according to Vault-Tec info read from a terminal in the Citadel.

The song in the trailer, “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” is an iconic symbol of West Virginia, which could indicate that Fallout 76 is set in the state of West Virginia. However, there are reasons why Fallout 76’s setting could be much broader too, as hinted at by Fallout 3.

Does Fallout 76 Have Online Gameplay?

Rumors that Fallout 76 is an online survival RPG similar to DayZ or Rust began circulating after three anonymous sources described the game to Kotaku.

According to Kotaku’s sources, Fallout 76 will still feature quests and a central story, but with additional “survival-based and multiplayer mechanics.” It will also allegedly feature base-building.

We expect to hear more at E3.
