Activision Publishing offers fresh gameplay footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which is scheduled to arrive on November 6th, 2015. The game engrosses players in a dark and gritty future, where a new breed of Black Ops soldier has emerged, and the lines between humanity and military technology have been blurred. Multiplayer features a new momentum-based chained movement system, allowing players to fluidly move through the environment with finesse, using controlled thrust jumps, slides and mantling. Black Ops III multiplayer also introduces the new Specialist character system, which allows players to master 9 characters’ battle-hardened weapons and abilities through a challenge-based unlock progression system.

This trailer is a prologue for the Shadows of Evil zombie survival experience that will be part of Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Following their trip to the moon, this time the zombies are going all noir on us:

“Shadows of Evil introduces four unwitting characters who must uncover the secrets and challenges laid out for them by a shadowy figure, who offers them a path to redemption. Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, and Ron Perlman star in “Shadows of Evil,” a new survival co-op experience only available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. As fans gear up to head into battle starting next week on PS4, Treyarch and Activision have released new information regarding the content that will be available in the beta, including maps, modes, Specialists and more. The beta will begin on 19th August for PlayStation 4 owners and on 26th August for Xbox One and PC owners. Look for more information to be released throughout this week.

Following today’s teaser trailer, Activision has now officially confirmed that this year’s Call of Duty title is in fact Call of Duty: Black Ops III from Treyarch Studios, the team that created the franchise.

Treyarch also created the now-popular Zombies mode, which will likely be featured in Black Ops III.

Although Activision has now confirmed Black Ops III, the publisher isn’t yet ready to share more details. But you won’t have to wait much longer to learn more, as the game’s official reveal is slated for April 26.
