File: Janes FA-18 Realism Fix
I have been modifying some of the files in FA-18 to enhance realism during gameplay. Included is the much awaited Russian Carrier fix(makes it look like a carrier and not a dirtstrip on water), Flare fix, Muzzle flash fix(ground units), Flak(AAA) fix and Tracer fire fix. Just back up all files having the same name as the ones included then put these files in their place. The files are located in the Janes Combat Simulation\Fa-18\Ncape\objects folder. Let me know how ya like em. You will notice a more intense flare trail with the fix. I struggled with the realism factor a bit in terms of the color pallette to employ. I managed to get a very close match to that of the real orange white glow. Taking off from the russian carrier with the new graphics is awesome!
